Closer to starting
One could say that this is the traditional procrastination phase, but I could make an argument that I spent time today holding up thread colors and drawing on print outs of the quilt-to-be-quilted.
Came down and cooked up the chicken I’d gotten at Hannaford. It was, apparently, not only amateur shrink-wrapping day there, but also perhaps new-butcher-learning-how-to-cut-up-chicken day. LOL the chicken needed a little help with a sharp knife is all I can say, which meant I also got some stock out of the whole procedure. Roast chicken with corn on the cob and a really ripe tomato is not a bad thing. And traditionalist that I may be about some things, cooking corn on the cob in the microwave is one of the best things ever.
Anyway now I’m going back upstairs to make a little sample practice piece and try out a couple things before I actually get around to starting anything for real.

I’m not quite sure what conference room situation brought about this “mascot” but it sure says it all about Fairpoint, eh?
