How’d you get here

When I look to see how many folks have come here, it gives me much more interesting information about what pages were viewed and where you came from (facebook, twitter links, other websites etc) and what search engine searches you were trying when you landed on this page. Fascinating geeky stuff for sure.

Today’s result was worth a screen shot.

what were you looking for again?

Not on the to-do list

This might not be on your to-do list today, but Mom and I both enjoyed this and now that I’ve watched it too I have to say you need to watch this, regardless of what your work is on a day to day basis.

“Science fiction author Ray Bradbury regales his audience with stories about his life and love of writing in “Telling the Truth,” the keynote address of The Sixth Annual Writer’s Symposium by the Sea…”

Day 8 #NaPoWriMo2012

I’m still working on dinner myself after a nice visit and dinner with family!

15.

How shall we dine?
Here is some toast
with a bit of butter.
A bit of butter
and a dab of jam.
A slosh of milk
in a tiny bowl.
A cube of cheese.
A slice for you.
A slice for me.
Here are two berries
both juicy and ripe
We’ll have strength
for dancing
all of this night.

The New Kid

Sunday

Much vegetable prep and cooking going on here this morning, resulting in carrots and asparagus cooked and ready to cook and a “Ham-Alternative” that is just out of the oven and ready for transport to my brother’s house. (where is my star-trek-ish transport anyway? Come on, already!)

Anyway. Hope you all are having a good day. Poetry stuff later when sitting is the best option!
