Well, I had hoped to surprise the inestimable Mrs Burns, but she kept her tuckered-out self at home tonight leaving me to enjoy these short stories by myself.
A good time was had by all, start to finish.
I think it must be a sign from the universe that twice in two days Siri has chosen Josefina’s Waltz, the music which plays big and important for my novel’s two main characters. Makes me cry each and every time with love and joy and being on the brink of new.

Well I tried to keep my hand and wrist loose, and followed the directions as close as I could. Now I’m waiting for it to finish drying so I can see what it really looks like and decide if I want to do anything else. I had used the wrong side of one piece of paper just to try some brush strokes so I used the right side of it to try a smaller second piece.
