I’m ironing the fabrics I pulled out of several bins. All browns, and reddish-browns, blackish-browns, and all. There are old old things and very new things.
There are a couple pieces of fabric in there that I love in an unexplainable way.
World’s worst photos of browns (color balance is really funky):
it’s a comforting range of colors.
I did this not too long ago..pulled all the “cousins” from the stash, so much like your choices here, and free pieced wonky log cabin blocks which, when gathered became a large top which now lives somewhere in Japan.
Very nice use of your stash Deb!
I like to pull out from the bins and rummage – keeps me in touch with what I own and makes it fit better as a side bonus. I’m getting rid of a few things bought long ago that are just not good for what I’m doing, often weight-wise.
I have a lot of strips and squares already cut from some of these but this way if I need something it’s ready to cut.
I’m always looking for lavenderish/green/brown things for landscape sort of use and find now I have more than I thought so I can lay off that awhile LOL.
