Saw this cool lenticular cloud and then, literally in moments, it was gone.
Took myself down to Ooms Conservation Area to see what there was to see: an eagle, many singing birds, people fishing in boats…
too warm afternoon
maple raises red fists
against the still bluefirst distant voices
a small bit of thundering
then heralding dogsa corgi, sheltie
bounding down the path alone
then their ownersone turns to look back,
ridiculous chihuahua
clutched in her arm.
It looked like a rat with big ears but hey that’s just me.

I carry them home.
Felt under the gun a bit to do a painting and the wet won. Might try this again tomorrow but not starting with the sky (too much wetness to deal with!)
