Did you miss me?

I’ve been hunting myths and legends in the mountains of central Wales. Well, virtually anyway. While it might have been for naught – perhaps I hallucinated that brilliant tie in between the Black Mountain and the King of Fairies or other notable players of Welsh Mythology – it has given my brain a bit of space to think on the resolution of my story.

So I guess it’s a good thing.

I also received a wonderful package of fragrances from Demeter Fragrances. In addition to my order roll-on perfume oils of:

  • Grass
  • Rain
  • Honeysuckle
  • Wisteria
  • Linden
  • Firefly

there was a bonus bottle of spray-on cologne titled: Frozen Margarita. Fresh and Limey as you might imagine.

The Linden was my “oh what the heck” item in the mix and it was just as wonderful as some reviewers claimed – softly fruity and wonderfully floral. Smells like soft and red which isn’t anything like what I know about linden flowers.

You dear reader might instead be wondering about the last item, Firefly. If they could bottle that night air that is just the right temperature and humidity, with the night dew coming on over the newly cut grass and planted garden and wait – there’s the first firefly – this would be it.

Yeah yeah yeah, you thought it was going to be something about Nathan Fillion… well that would be good too. Maybe out there, sitting in the early summery twilight, sharing Frozen Margaritas

Sounds like a nice break from the everyday things. Enjoy all the things around you and then some.

When I saw Firefly I did indeed think, “Ah! Eau de Serenity with a large slash of Mal?” Backyard summer nights are good too. It’s just that the other option was immediately more appealing. I like the idea of Nathan Fillion in the nighttime back yard with suitable libations too. Note: Just did a Firefly marathon of my own this past week. Donna was away. A friend had lent us his boxed set. Donna was holding out until Mike could come over again – we’d seen only three episodes! Could. Not. Stop. Myself. Didn’t want to, either. Heh, heh!
