While rummaging for something else, I encountered this youtube video of the NY Philharmonic’s performance of Mahler’s second symphony in 2011, in remembrance of September 11, 2001, which led me to looking up the beautiful lyrics.
Or maybe it was the other way around. Such is the way of rummaging.
