Chose two books to hear.
There’s one thing I’m fond of: doing database searches that actually work for me. OK, then, show me books that are in the only format that you’ll let me download AND which are available. Blam! Still a good size list (too big really, I didn’t plow through it all) and I chose two books to tide me over until my wait-listed books arrive. The winners were: The Story of King Arthur and His Knights by Howard Pyle and The House of Mirth by Edith Wharton.
And then, a bonus! The Scorpio Races by Maggie Stiefvater on a former co-worker and working-librarian’s recommendation.
