I hope you had a nice Towel Day. Mine started with a modicum of panic on the part of less-prepared beings. Not everyone is cut out to be a hoopy frood who really knows where his towel is. Myself, I knew exactly where my towel was and was prepared to be serene and prepared all day long. I was accused at one point of being a non-human being but I moved past that.
At the end of the day, I found a fellow wandering around the parking lot looking for his car and brought the “mall cops” into it to help him find his car. I think he’d been wandering around for awhile – he definitely looked like it. Anyway I think we had figured out where to start looking for his car by chatting for a few minutes and letting him settle his brain down a bit. All good.
Stopped to see my dad and then came home. Turned my steak dinner into a more than lovely steak and eggs. Sinful pleasure.
And in the less-than-guilty-pleasure department. I think there’s everything good to say about watermelon as a mood-lifting, thirst-quenching wonder. I’m good with that and strawberries as a way to get a bit more fruit in my life. Bring them on.
