Late night #haiku

There are some things you can do while you’re cutting and ironing and doing all that fabric stuff and that includes rolling haikus around in your head and getting them into digital form.

the day’s long rain fall
pours sap green, all shades, slowly
to fill up the hills.

Counting little squares
truing up each jagged edge
making a big pile.

I’m sick and mainly
because people don’t stay home
when sick anymore

The wet ground is soft.
Mowers kept still by the rain;
watching the grass grow.
