and if you want to sing along… (go here if you need a reminder and a big smile too!)
Beautiful day in the neighborhood today (earplugs if you’re not inclined to generator noise) – beautiful sun and sky, everything seems extra shiny. Last night I got up to the story of Túrin in the Silmarillion and it made a lot more sense to me, even with the unbelievable hits of fate and curses and the doom placed on people and families. Just when you thought things were saved – BLAM.
Happy birthday! Thanks for sharing life through your blog – I’ve learned much.
Happy Birthday! Hoping your power’s back on. Ed Smith says his is out, too.
I am sure his was too. Hope it’s back now! Did you see all the flooding and destruction on Brattleboro. It was hard to believe, knowing how hilly a place it is.
He was hopeful to have power back soon as there were crews on his street. I guess anywhere that water flowed downhill got hit. I did see video of some covered bridges being washed away. We’re off to Nowthwest Passage dance camp (east of Portland OR)in a few minutes.
