Haiku #3

Imagine surprise
I reach for some black fabric
The bolt is empty.

looking for black fabric for facings. Where is that bolt? How weird. Look in front room and there is the empty bolt cardboard and in a pile, a small chunk of black. That was a fast 15 yards lol.

Have enough though. Have strips not cut into squares for this quilt so a little bigger and the chunk will do for the top sleeve/facing.

Whew.
