So an interesting thing about snow days. When all the weathermen are basically one big hype machine, it is hard to be well prepared and able to make plans in advance.
Having said that I was glad not to have to deal with the roads and other drivers etc. And the mall was closed until noon anyway. I have to think it was so they could plow and haul away the parking lot snow.
I stayed in. Well, I crawled out the bathroom window and shoveled off the flat roof. Several layers, deep layers, of snow separated by ice. I thought of my co-worker who went out in barefeet and discovered all those layers of ice. Oops.
Anyway. Snow shoveled i came inside and made all my reservations for going to Quilt National in May. Flying, car and room. Reserved for the banquet and a few extra books. Now just have to wait!
Doing the last couple seams on the second half and then it’s all about the ironing.
PS and I made beef soup and did some silliness homework. That class was fun!
