Today marks another year of AIDS awareness, although it seems at times that this disease has slipped from public consciousness. I remember reading an article in the NY Times about this illness that seemed to be striking down gay men. I still think of Rudy in the early summer when the fields are newly mown.
Today people live longer with HIV/AIDS than we could have imagined. Let today remind us that the fight for prevention and cure goes on.
Just looking at the “From here and there” picture…is it upside down? To me, the smaller stuff should be at a distance, i.e., near the top of the pic, whereas here it appears the bigger ripples are farther away.
Or, are these not water ripples?
Marge
OK, so the picture changes, hope you know which one I was referring to. You are sooooo geeky, I can’t keep track of your permutations!

The orientation is correct. That was taken in a carwash and the top of the photo is the top of the front windshield. I can see your perspective mismatch though. Clicking on the little pic will bring you to a gallery of large versions.
Marge, Was it the one with the bobber? That is so real looking in person. Yes she might be called geeky. I wish I knew half she does about the internet. Maybe even 1/4 would do. LOL Betty {S I am happy I can at least turn it on.
On the Aids Quilt block. I too remember Rudy. I surely remember the block. A work of art by three friends. We will always remember .
