Saturday

Today there was no incoming mail but these went out.

Also had my first appointment with a different PT practice. I was quite impressed because most of this session was spent with my therapist who asked a lot of questions, reviewed my history, had me do a lot of range of motion stuff, some active and some passive. She took measurements. Afterwards she took me through a bunch of exercises, explaining what to look for and where I should feel the stretch. Then I got iced for a bit and was on my way.

She politely asked about why I was changing practices and I was honest. At the end though, I did tell her that we’d never done anything like what she did. Makes sense to get some concrete information about range of motion, otherwise how can you tell if you’re making any headway. I’d been to this place, Columbia Physical Therapy, many years ago when I got super-bad shin splints at dance camp.

So it was all good. I made a quick trip for cat litter (the cats were complaining), batteries (the mouse was complaining) and got a few other things. By the time I was done I could really feel the workout.

This was the view from my upstairs window this morning:

now for a beverage please…

Love the flowers. Good you changed places sounds like. Those cars are great. Did you think you went back in time?
