Today I shoveled
snow, whole roofs and driveways full
tonight I will sleep.leaning on shovel
I surveyed all the whiteness
of the muting snow.snow dusting the porch
the trace of small pointy feet
of a calling bird.Called in, a snow day.
Spent most of the day with snow
wielding my shovel.
