Not sure if it seems bad because it’s Friday the 13th or just the end of a series of not-so-greatweeks, but I’m still glad it’s Friday. News from the world continues to spiral out of control. My own mind sort of gropes around looking for a secure thread to hold onto to help detangle the mess. The fact remains that in 99% of cases we are forced to carry on despite what’s going on in the bigger picture. We get up, do what has to be done and do our best.

I try to make a point of stopping to enjoy the presence of sun in the sky. The shift of the clock makes it quite dark now when I get home. But it’s still bright in the morning. Enjoy it while you can. I am.
