HAPPY BLOGIVERSARY!
That is all. Yeah yeah I know that was last week.
I went to sleep last night. I was really tired due to not sleeping well the night before and I was ready to go to bed. The night before that, I woke up having crazy dreams about people stealing things. The cats did not walk all over me as they had the night before. Before climbing under the covers I reset the alarm and didn’t plan on waking up earlier than needed.
I woke up this morning feeling great! I’m feeling finally over whatever it was that had me down and out for a week and a half, and ready to go.
Where did I go? To work of course. I have a bad case of va-kay head and couldn’t believe it wasn’t Saturday but what can you do? Odd day at work but again, what can you do?
At lunch I brought my soup etc and my laptop to the “break room” where, instead of working on my NaNoWriMo piece, I opened up the Superior Threads website and dumped a chunk o’change for thread. Like I don’t have thread. But seriously, I don’t have any of these colors and I have the current project to start quilting! And all that va-kay to quilt during. (It was only 20,560 yards. No biggie. And some current thread color cards. That’s all.)
Yes, I’m supposing that a normal person would have booked a flight somewhere and gone. But, I’ll be home with two purposes: to live like a normal person and to live like the crazed “quilt the hell out of it” woman that I normally am.
The cats are really helping out here, getting the cat cam off to a good start. I’ll try to get some identifying photos of the little herd up so you can tell who’s who more easily. Right now they’re all napping.
I on the other hand, have puttered around, spilled coffee on myself – laundry-in-progress, done dishes, fun stuff like that. So much for another day off. Dishes are about done so that means I can proceed to clearing out the frig. As I said, exciting stuff. Combined with a couple updates for computer, it’s been quite the day.
Very timely:

We’ve had a dearth of snow this year, but this morning was too pretty not to stop and take photos.
This gallery is pretty much all the jpgs I took minus a few bum ones and I hope you enjoy.
