I remember as a kid having breakfast outside on the steps some summer mornings. Why does that make everything feel so different?

First peach of summer:
fragrant, fuzzy, soft and sweet.
Gone quickly – eat now!

Deep red, orange, yellow
ridiculously fragrant
peach juice running down

Speaking of math-geekness

I have no problem making and putting on bindings. I can make the tube to make continuous binding – no problem. For a quilt this size though the tube would be rather small. So I took the edges off my pressed fabric and am cutting individual strips to sew together. My calculations say I only need five strips so I am doing six.
