Art is our memory of love. The most an artist can do through their work is say, let me show you what I have seen, what I have loved, and perhaps you will see it and love it too. – Annie Bevan

Arrrrgh me matey
talk like a pirate
ahoy me matey, me pal
Like my new eyepatch?
once a year we speak
salted with the open seas
talk like a pirate
Bonus Good News!
It’s iOS7 day (you did back up your iPhone, right and have 3.1G of free space on it???)
AND – drum roll please –
Got an email that I’m going to TedXAlbany in November!
Woot!
What’s that on the horizon, you ask?
I hear a rumble away out in the distance and see some emails, see some other digital notices, see some website sprucing up and well tip-off of all tip-offs, new t-shirts being offered so that thing out there on the horizon trying not to loom must be NaNoWriMo!
This year our area has a liaison so I’m hoping to hit a couple non-virtual meetups. It’s a funny thing to meet up in person when in reality (for me anyway) it would be a couple hours of furiously typing. But hey it’s a different place and space.
I did notice these stats on the region’s forum page which is interesting:
Donations are voluntary of course but if you can throw them a few dollars it helps some really good youth programs and keeps the lights on over in The Office of Letters and Light, Berkeley.
Chasing the Sky
I spent the past three days chasing the end of my NaNoWriMo story and it’s getting there. I think I might have just set a few too many things in motion so they’ll have to duke it out for most amazing result from a small push. We’ll see. The humans seem to be riding to the rescue!
I did go chasing some clouds today. Yesterday there were some late day polarizing things going on. Today it was a vast assortment of types of clouds, all at once. I didn’t get a shot of these really huge cat paw sort of wispy things but I enjoyed seeing them.
