a lovely day

So warm and sunny I combed and braided my hair out on the front porch this morning.

Got my own pill-splitter (oooh ahhh). Got the car washed (ooooh all shiny). Looked at the tax stuff a little and think I found what I need to figure out what I needed yesterday (thank goodness!) Ate a little chocolate and now I’m about to sit down and sew. (yeah!)

And it’s a good day for having some left over tea, for iced tea!

What happened to the quilts?

I don’t know why my TEDxAlbany pics took over the link to the Quilts Over the Years, but I think it’s all better now.

Seen on a Saturday

Today was full of strange sights and interesting people, but I just had to ask these two girls if I could take a photo of them. Well, actually just their cool leggings and shoes. They were sweet if confused about it.

From the Quote Box

The artist is the only person able to encounter technology with impunity, because he is an expert aware of the changes in sense perception. โ€“ Marshall McLuhan

Geek R Us

The Social Network is the Saturday Night Movie, and I have things to do while I’m watching it so what the heck (never having seen it before)

Amuses me that in the opening bit, I understand what he’s talking about as he’s hacking into all the school house’s facebooks to get all the photos. I couldn’t DO most of it, but I understand what he’s doing. Oh oh. LOL.
