Sunday after Saturday

Seriously sleep-deprived after working yesterday, the NaNoWriMo write-in, a drive home, a couple-few hours sleep, drive to work for a 7 AM meeting (who makes those decisions?) and a drive home.

Created a v.2 of the whole NaNoWriMo story. Let the next round of editing commence.

The Night of Writing Late Into The Night

We should be fostering belief in things which might seem just out of sight for most of us. We should tell the stories and keep an open mind about the presence of others who share our world. Roald Dahl wrote, ‘And above all, watch with glittering eyes the whole world around you because the greatest secrets are always hidden in the most unlikely places. Those who don’t believe in magic will never find it.’ โ€” Mary Beth Frezon

Currently holed up in Latham Denny’s with a host of Albany area NaNoWriMo’s. There’s a whole lotta keyboarding going on here. And everything else that Wrimos do in packs: laughing, teasing, sighing and taking incriminating photos.

NaNoWriMo Read by @neilhimself

I know I’m a little sleep deprived but I spend time each night reading my NaNoWriMo story in chunks so that I can rewrite and rearrange it into something a little more coherent. The other night I realized that, in my head, it’s being read in the delightful voice of @neilhimself aka Neil Gaiman.

Tonight I realized that Neil (I can call him Neil, right?) doesn’t seem to have any more background in the Welsh language than I do since he blips over the same place and people names that I don’t know how to say. Thanks Neil. We’ll have to figure it out someday.

If you want to laugh like a hyena – you can try this WITS radio show with Neil doing parodies of himself.
