My purpose of life the last couple weeks seems to be to be there at the right place and time to keep people from entering the Northway going the wrong way via the bridge onto the Crossgates Mall road.
This morning, coming across the bridge toward the mall and yup, here comes a car at me, toward the northway, going the wrong way. pull out so I’m straddling both lanes, lay on the horn and wave my arms. The lady finally realizes something and pulls hard left so she could exit via the off ramp leading off to the right (where I normally go from the bridge).
O.M.G. It’s just not all that easy to turn onto that spot. I looked it all over the last time and it’s a really HARD left turn to get going into the wrong way ramp.
But ok, another crisis averted. My question really is, if I wasn’t there how far would these people get and then how would they get out of it?
