Naomi and I went to see the Dr. Who 50th anniversary show on the big screen in Colonie Center. The man we were clambering over dropped something, I used the flashlight feature of my phone to help find it and managed to take this photo of the screen somewhat accidentally. There was Whovian trivia before the feature started. I gave it all a big thumbs up.

The Quote Box
If one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live the life which he has imagined, he will meet with a success unexpected in common hours. He will put some things behind, will pass an invisible boundary; new, universal, and more liberal laws will begin to establish themselves around and within him; or old laws will be expanded and interpreted in his favor in a more liberal sense, and he will live with a license of a higher order of beings.

Jealous! Jealous! Jealous! Tell me more!
It was great – probably still available via BBC and presumably sometime in the not near enough future on this side of the pond. I love this new trend of having television show in theaters, a nice sense of community while watching. A theater in Pittsfield aired the final episode of Breaking Bad for example. It’s nice to have shared events!
