I see a few people wandering in from the pages of NaNoWriMo and other far-off locales. Welcome and feel free to look around, explore and comment. This blog is recently migrated so you might encounter some image issues as I continue to fix links etc but for the most part, it’s all good.
Last night I settled down to write and realized I’m writing in these small scenes. I’m having a hard time creating a nice slope to a climax of some kind, although the main action of this part is about to start. This is where the main male protagonist is going to use his developing skills to rescue his friends and others from a potentially dangerous situation while realizing that indeed, this is who he is.
That’s really what all the small scenes are about I suppose, a learning on both sides, me and him, to learn how he reacts, what he thinks about, what he does.
Now the action will turn over briefly to the female lead and her retinue (I want one of those) and we’ll just see how it all plays out.
