I know the Apocalypse (zombie or otherwise) is coming because how? Because I took a leap of faith and put two different requests to the comptroller’s office in the same envelope. While they might have done the one, I fully expected that they would tell me that they couldn’t do number two because the paperwork relied on them having done number one first. So, it turns out they must have done number one and then number two and all was good.
That’s so incredibly amazing I can’t even begin to imagine how it’s possible. To be honest I was even thinking they’d reject number one for faulty paperwork or some such thing.
So, thank you NYS Comptroller’s office for doing the two things, correctly and in the correct order and well, welcome to the Apocalypse.
