This week is my Final Boss week. In video game parlance, that means that it’s my hardest challenge yet, and is largely uncharted territory. As an excellent Final Boss ought to do, it takes all the problems I’ve dealt with since the beginning of the month, and throws them at me all at once. I feel like I don’t know what I’m doing, but the only thing that keeps me going is the fact that I know what I’ve done already.

Great advice. Among the things I really like about NaNoWriMo: Pep talks from people who know what they’re talking about and really supportive community stuff via forums and twitter, but also the truthfulness of the people at OLL. Sometimes they don’t hit their marks either word count wise but they’re open with how they feel about it and what their plans are.
And just like final bosses, you might have to try again or figure out how all the pieces fit together to make it a success but you will, if you only keep at it.
