The pieced center of the pink and green quilt top is done done done. All rows and columns are now assembled. It’s pink. It’s green. It’s done.

Now – if you know where that cool beigy, pinky, greeny striped fabric is that I was planning to use for the binding….. I think now it’s too brownish, but I’d like to see for myself rather than working from memory. I did find the backing fabric I thought about.

I was thinking about this while sewing that last long seam and I started this quilt in January 2002. Long term baby, long term.

and now for something completely different.

I have over $31,000 in blogshares, despite some early losses in my first market fund/bond. Longterm.think.longterm. I will confess here that I had a windfall because a sell order I made to sell all of a stock crossed paths with an order to split that same stock. I ended up with the same number of shares as I just sold, only for zero cost. And the stock bounced back quickly, making a quite tidy sum of money for moi.
