I had promised myself I could read Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman after my course work was done. I’d gotten a really good deal on the audiobook and then found a nice copy of the paperback. I started with the paper version and then switched to the audio and got further (oooooh the seductive voice of the author!). I found it fun going back and forth, not skipping ahead but catching up each time. Fun to hear his version first and then fun to hear my brain’s version and then his version second. Anyway, I finished the paper version and should finish the audio version tomorrow.
I loved this story. I loved the characters although I did have a few nagging questions. I guess I enjoyed being able to make up explanations on my own.
