In my travels tonight I stumbled on Haikupedia* (who has time to read) which hopes to convert all knowledge to haiku form and invites submissions.
I give you my take on ECD:
English Country Dance:
blend of history and grace,
movement and music.
I would challenge those who haunt Wikipedia to pause and consider summarizing in 17 syllables the bit of info just gleaned. For posterity, for the driven, for the web! (The haikupedia submission form asks for a wikipedia link to the subject of your haiku – brilliant!)
* This doesn’t look too active but what the heck, I’m going to set up a new category on my own site to keep the spark alive!
