Finally made it into the sewing room tonight, but frankly despite trying to distract myself with favorite playlists, I was missing my story and the characters.

on Marc Chagall…Chagall is my favourite pupil, and what I like about him is that after listening attentively to my lessons he takes his paints and brushes and does something absolutely different from what I have told him.


All this seems right. Sewing is a big part of us. But creating a story has got to be like creating a new family. Why wouldn’t you think about it. I can imagine the scenes jumping in and out of focus now and than. This may be a good thing. Have fun with your new quilt emerging now for awhile.
