According to my further calculations, if I post 26.25 posts per month starting May 1st, I’ll hit 2000 posts by the end of the year. What do you think – is it a challenge? I think – no problem!
It’s a side benefit of National Poetry Month that there’s some pressure… no not exactly pressure… to post every day. OK, yes I made a commitment to write a poem a day on two different websites, but my real goal is to write something every day and share it here.
What else happened today? I stopped at the local quilt shop. I had a 22% off one item coupon (and forgot to ask why 22%) and I needed some stuff for the upcoming getaway weekend. They had several fabrics that followed me home but I did manage to get the getaway stuff too. And so I got to spend a bit of time tonight fondling fabric and thinking about the next new thing. I didn’t start sewing together little squares. I didn’t even cut strips from the new fabric as is my want. I’ll throw it all in the wash tomorrow and then do that. Old habits but what can I say?
With Elaine asking questions about setting up her domain and site and blog and all, that has me pondering what to do to pull together my gazillion years of scattered web-building. Yeah time to make it into something a little more up to date. Not this part – I’m pretty well pleased with this here blog and how it works. I do want to rephoto a lot of my quilts and get them up on the web for viewing and to re-org my info and other pages. They stretch across too many hosts and styles etc etc etc.
