That’s just awesome

got a lead for a show to enter. I thought yes, I’d like to enter for sure. Then I got to dimensions and found the maximum horizontal size is 48″ and vertically max is 96″. That leaves out the one I’m working on now which will be about 60″ wide. Leaves out the one I arranged on the wall before this one which wants to be 42h x 72-90″. Damn

The only good news: minimum size is 36″ on a side.

And I usually work too small for a lot of these exhibits. If something doesn’t meet the min/max size restrictions I just don’t enter. Sigh… And yes, I know what you mean about a piece wanting to be a certain size. It decides and tells you, right?

Good to hear from you, Mary Beth! Hope to get up in your direction one of these days to teach. Any suggestions for a guild that might be willing to experiment a bit? The last guild that asked me to teach, unasked me several months later because the board wanted somebody more traditional. LOL. So now I always check out the scene beforehand!

That whole portrait mode thing has never really been my thing either lol. I stuck done of the next quilt pieces up on the wall to think about in the meantime.
