Last night I picked up some bubble wrap and “insurance” packing tape at Staples along with a ream of paper. Get home. There are my big new boxes. Get one and go to pick up the bag o’staples. Only the paper… A bit of scrambling and all ensues. Bleah. Go through the paperwork checklist one more time. Ooops no CV! Luckily I still had the one from last time so it was a matter of re-reading and a bit of updating. Phew. At least I had paper to print it out on. And I had acquired some fed ex printable shipping labels! Ah the glamourous quilting life.
This morning it was off to work extra early with a pit stop to get a whole lot of bubble wrap. The boxes may be just a bit too big. I think 6″ would be too small though so whatchagonnado? In any case I spent a delightful few minutes in the parking lot enjoying the morning sun (being watched by a security guard parked at an *ahem* discrete distance away. LOL I wondered if she thought I was packing up a rifle or something!? I could have packed it inside work but hauling it in would have been harder.
So, bye bye quilt! See you soon! One always has the lingering worry – hope they don’t reject it now!

hahahahahahaha- not a chance! Wish I could write comments like your posted one- maybe if I translate to Norwegian, then to japanese and back to Turkish before hitting the ‘English’ button. Fun to see what comes out, like the old game ‘Telephone’ from birthday party daze!
Thanks gain for the FedEx tip- I now wave at the trucks no matter how fast they are driving.
