Extra love, for sure! The things one either knows from knowing Grandpa Mulligan or their father OR acquires as part of the joy of being a homeowner are myriad and sometimes ‘way off the beaten path of common knowledge. Useful, though.
BTW, do you get to keep at least a little part of the antique oil burner that is no longer useful? Or at least the front of the old coal burner? Both have lots of character and link you to the history of the house and earlier stages of fuel consumption!
