Somewhere in #22

I had hoped to be remembering how to do a faced edge by now but i’m doing ok on the quilting side. It’s going. By the time I get home I am hungry, tired and more than a bit frazzled, even after some enforced silence and pondering about next-quilt-stuff. What can I say – I have to kill some orcs. My little hunter is benefitting from this but my quilting is suffering a bit. Oh well. Whatever it takes to keep body and soul together, as they say.

Meanwhile I’m trying to get a toe hold on my copy of Concerning the Spiritual in Art by Wassily Kandinsky and wondering how to make all that work. I don’t think Wassily had any orcs or technology to contend with. Maybe the post-impressionist period was a bit simpler (not on the art front itself certainly). Perhaps he had the same good intentions to read a few pages before sleep as I have – maybe he even managed a few. LOL it’s not working out so well for me.

Tonight I’m going to try harder to quilt first and kill orcs later.
