NaPoWriMo Day Sixteen

I had a bunch of time on my hands this morning – and into the afternoon – and among other things thought about tomorrow being National Haiku Day. So let’s just say I got an early start…

I remain on hold
despite the incompetence
of those I speak with.

You transferred me and
thought the problem was solved but
I am still on hold

soothing hold music
followed by ‘will you please hold’
becomes annoyance

you try to distract
with a different service
but to no avail

yes we all agree
that you have no ability
to assist me here

Despite your answer
I request to be transferred
to one who can help.

in between people
i try focussing on hope
to shake off anger.

    Hi Mary Beth,

Waiting time well spent, I see. :)

I’d like to remind you of something. Two years ago I borrowed your verses, among others, for a cento. Here it is, at the end of my today’s post:

    Happy spring and poems!

  2. Haha! This is good. Although not a good situation to be in.
