Ginny and I had a chat this morning, before I fed them all and went out to paint.
Morning Chat With Cat
Don’t worry.
I love you.
It’s OK.
Someday,
we’ll both
be old.
But today
is not
that day.

Fruits… like having their portrait painted. They seem to sit there and ask your forgiveness for fading. Their thought is given off with their perfumes. They come with all their scents, they speak of the fields they have left, the rain which has nourished them, the daybreaks they have seen.

This is probably my favourite poem of yours from the second half of April. I’ve been catching up.
But overall it’s the one from the day before, #15, that hit me the most. Please find it quoted in my cento poem for Day #16. I’m not sure if you have seen it (there was a pingback). I’m making sure that you don’t miss it. Thank you for all the words!
