A little afternoon painting

I sat in the car today, window cracked, listening to the wind. That field in the foreground held lots of evidence of rabbits, deer and fox.

When I got back home, I watched a very large, very fat groundhog, ferrying leaves and sticks to an unseen burrow across from my driveway.

Some nice paintings! Working from the car has some great advantages and Clare W-L told me that she does it all the time. I will have to keep some art stuff in my car as well!

I do keep a set of brushes and paint gear in the car. This time of year I have to think about the water needed. But being able to paint where ever I find myself is a real pleasure. Maybe I’ll do a blog post on what’s in my pack.
