First, a word or two from the Quote Box:
Kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echoes are truly endless. — Mother Theresa
I have the batting up on the wall, thanks to the nice guy at Agway who didn’t laugh when I asked for help getting different screws to fit into the funny little “finish washers” to hold the stuff up. Note to those considering something like this – you pretty much have to put a hole into the batting before screwing everything in with the drill. Otherwise it just twists around the screw which is not the desired effect. Rather than using screws on all the other edges, I’m going to get some white-headed long pins and use them judiciously around to keep everything from flapping without needing a lot of work to get it off.
So that’s done and trimmed: easily done with scissors using the quarter round molding as a guide.
What other trouble can I get into today?
I am so proud of you sticking to it and getting your job done. That is your way always but this was a different challenge. Now it is on to doing your sewing project. I can’t wait to see it all set up on the wall. Mom
