Happy 50th Star Trek

I remember sneaking down the cellar stairs trying to catch a little bit of this wildly exciting show, the original series, duh. Tonight’s bit of goodness:

Commander William T. Riker: In your position it’s important to ask yourself one question: what would Picard do? 

And of course, Wesley knew exactly what to do.

Wesley Crusher: He’d listen to everyone’s opinion and then make his own decision.

    Those were the days. Life was simpler. Life for us was easy. The world now not so much.

    Love it! I decorated my profile picture with a Star Trek theme thanks to you and my friend Toni. It’s amazing that the three seasons of the first TV series became this juggernaut at its 50 year mark. I’m still bummed that Firefly didn’t get revived, of course. But that’s another story in another, parallel universe.
