One of the more mysterious things about being on the web is that things change and do things you don’t expect. Despite what was suggested I don’t think the problem was something on my end but it took a bit of deleting and replacing directories to get it all back and working again.
Likewise yesterday I rumbled off to work at my normal hour. More on the rumbling in a bit. Get to work and am met by a confused managerial type who says I am not scheduled to work, having requested the day off. This is true but I never saw a schedule that reflected that. So I left. In the blizzard. Instead of going home though I drove to Saturn where all the customers had said – oops – snow? not going to Saturn. And that’s how I spent a couple hours researching anthems on my iPhone, listening to great music as everyone around me watched looped news and soaps. Of course that cost me a nice chunk of change but my car’s front end doesn’t rumble anymore.
