After not being able to settle down at home and write anything, I got ready to go and took a nice leisurely drive south through Ghent and places south to Annandale-on-Hudson and Bard College. Beautiful views of the Catskills on the other side of the Hudson River and wild clouds, although you’d have to say it was really pretty warm, 55F in November has to count as warm.
Anyway, I found the place I need to be tonight. My plan was to find a place to eat but I wasn’t particularly hungry. Turns out there was a strong campus wifi signal so I got out my laptop and started to write.
The story seems like it’s going to take a dark turn but I’ll have to wait a bit to see what happens next. Maybe things will percolate while I listen to Neil Gaiman and Armistead Maupin?
All I know is I made goal for today, even without writing 1667 words, so if I do continue later, it’s all good.
I would say good day for you. I am doing well too. Safe trip home.
