The Mysteries of Tea
There’s the moment
when the tea,
(Everything right –
fresh boiled water,
good leaves, well-brewed)
covers your face with
fragrance and steam
and the sweetened elixir
imparts all its magic.And then
there’s the moment
just a short while later
when the cup holds
just a half inch or so
and the cool smooth liquor
is magically quenching
of every thirst
you’ve ever known in life.
