Sit Back
In those few moments
when the sky explodes,
not nightly
but just often enough,
cars pull over
cameras get lifted
people stop for a moment
to look. They pause.
In those few moments
the earth doesn’t
matter much at all
except as bleacher seating
for the best light show,
well, on earth.
