Favorite things. Smell department:
- warm morning after a night-time rain
- hot coffee
- moldering leaves, pulled back from garden
- sun-warmed soil
- freshly-crushed fennel
- simmering sauce
- first spring breeze coming through the window
- blowing around the fresh baked bread smell in the kitchen
What a lovely day, made all the better by putting my hands into the dirt for awhile. Such a promise of things, coming while we watch.
