went to the vermont quilt festival and got a red ribbon for “elegy” as well as a special award “most elegant.” That was very exciting. Mom got her first vermont ribbon this year for her union star quilt and she was very psyched.
We had a very nice time, met some new folks, hung out with lots of quilts and quilters and survived heat and thunderstorms and the trip home.
