Bleating protests high wheeling
Persistent blackbird
Big hawk, really light underwings.
Small blackbird everywhere at once.
It sounded like a duck quacking, sadly.

I knew that I’d have to not have a lot of things. Not material things, but I’d be cut off from a lot of regular human society, and being from a very large Italian family, I had a very strong sense of what that is, the regular daily life stuff. I guessed that wouldn’t be part of it. I just knew that, intuitively.
Lovely image. I love to see smaller birds standing up to the predators.
