Day 14, NaPoWriMo

I spent a good part of today listening to Joseph Campbell talking with Bill Moyers, The Power of Myth recorded before his death in 1987. Each section left me wanting more so perhaps I’ll continue listening to the areas he’s addressing here.

sitting with teacher
his ideas water to me
quenching and growing.

Fingers in service
to the thing I’ve created
my mind is peaceful.

Written on the wall:
Do the work. Just do the work.
It will make you whole

It will make you whole
Be in service to the work
Pain and joy and bliss.
