I happened to wonder just now when my blog anniversary was and – it’s Feb 4, 2001!
So here I am, a couple days ahead, thinking about what sort of full-page NYTimes, billboard-ish thing to celebrate with. Oh what the heck – maybe a new banner or something. Stay up all night and write code like the old days? Maybe a photo montage posted minute by minute, live from the sewing room? How about some streaming video?
Suggestions?
Ok it was a big chunk of pretty mundane stuff but hey there are always bits like that along the way.

The 20th was Dad’s birthday! Happy birthday again Dad!
Today is Mom’s birthday! Happy birthday Mom!
Both of you are a constant source of encouragement and inspiration to me. You run rings around me in what you can accomplish in a day. You’ve always been there for me, even when we didn’t agree on things and that’s what it’s all about.
Dad has an iPod nano and finds lots of cool music for it on iTunes. Mom is the poster child in her peer group for what you can do with a computer and your pictures. (and on a mac, if i might add!)
